Rowan, a tiny boy with huge dreams, ventures across the Pacific to Japan. Always on a lookout for adventure and mischief, he doesn't realize his cat, Komame, has gone missing in the process. Will he ever find his friend again? Why did Komame leave? While searching for his lost pal, Rowan battles culture shock along the way, and learns that friendship is a two-way sort of thing.
